Dear BSI Families & Community,

It is our goal at Boston School International (BSI) to provide vast opportunities that will allow for your child(ren) to thrive and be prepared to reach their goals and have their dreams come true.

With great pride and enthusiasm I would like to introduce myself as the Executive Director for BSI, Mr. Darin T. Carney.

Personally, I am a father of three grown and successful young men. My wife, also an educator, and I have been married for over 30 years and know the rewards and challenges of raising school-aged children. I am here to work with each of you!

I have worked in Asia as well as the United States for over 30 years. Recently, I spent the last several years with XCL International Educational Group; Vietnam Australia School (VAS) in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam as the Chief Operations Officer and Founding Superintendent of American Academy in Singapore. I have also worked as Head of BCIS American International School in Shenzhen, China and Hong Kong. Prior to experiences in Asia; I was fortunate enough to serve several roles in educational leadership such as Superintendent and founding principal of a school in the United States. I am truly grateful to be in Panama and excited to work with you and your children. Our goal is to provide the necessary opportunities and support for your family to reach the goals of your child(ren). Further, I am looking forward to not only working with our local community in Costa Del Este, but also the global community – including, but not limited the United States – to help broaden our opportunities, mission, and goals for each student, every day.

Much like your child, we are building something extraordinary and unique at BSI with the global perspective of International School Partnership (ISP). We look forward to meeting you soon and working with you, your child and entire family.
