The Purpose of Physical Education at BSI

At BSI, Physical Education (PE) is an essential part of our students’ development, starting from PK4 through third grade. Our program focuses on fostering fundamental motor skills and physical abilities tailored to each student’s level. Additionally, PE plays a crucial role in promoting healthy habits and nurturing moral and social values.
Beginning in fourth grade, PE classes become more sports-oriented. The objective is to teach students the basic rules of each sport while helping them develop athletic skills, encouraging teamwork, and fostering a spirit of healthy competition.
Many of the sports opportunities we offer are available through our Extracurricular Activities (ECA) program. Beyond traditional team sports—such as soccer, basketball, and volleyball—we also provide opportunities to engage in tennis, ping pong, cycling, board games like chess, and more. Our goal is to offer students a wide range of activities where they can express their competitive spirit, maintain physical fitness, and stimulate their minds positively.
Scientific research has consistently shown that regular physical activity provides numerous benefits to overall well-being. For more information about our sports activities, please visit the ECA section of our website.

Extracurricular Activities (ECA)

At BSI, our diverse range of Extracurricular Activities (ECAs) enriches the educational experience for students from Kindergarten to Grade 12. Whether in Creative Arts, Academics, or Physical Activities, we provide a supportive environment where students can explore their interests and achieve their full potential. Each ECA is carefully designed and organized by age group, ensuring activities align with the developmental needs and passions of our students.

All activities are supervised by experienced BSI staff or qualified external instructors who have been thoroughly vetted and approved by the school administration, guaranteeing the highest standards of quality and safety.
ECAs take place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Each session includes a snack to keep students energized and focused.
